How Quickly Will I Receive My Quote?
Monday – Friday, you will get a quote within one (1) hour of our receipt of your request. On the weekend, your call will be returned on the next business day.
What are your payment terms?
Payment is needed prior to delivery. For custom containers, 50% down is needed and the balance is due prior to delivery.
Payments accepted: cash, check, ECheck, wire transfers, credit cards (with 3.3% processing fee)
How quickly can I get a portable storage container delivered?
Delivery is typically within three – five (3-5) business days from receipt of order (weather permitting).
How much space is required for delivery?
Click here to see delivery requirements. Containers are delivered on a tilt bed truck. The driver tilts the bed up, and the container touches the ground. The driver then drives out from under the container. The delivery site needs to allow for 14’ of overhead clearance to accommodate the container on top of the tilt bed trailer. To get out from under the container the driver needs at least the length of the container and the tilt bed truck, in a straight line. This can be up to 100 feet with a 40’ container. The loaded tilt bed truck requires 12-foot wide clearance. 20 ft containers can be delivered on a smaller truck when necessary. Please request a smaller delivery truck when space or turning radius is tight.
Time Allocation
In most cases, it will take 30 minutes or less to deliver your container. Drivers often deliver multiple containers in a day. If the delivery time exceeds one hour, then other deliveries have to be delayed or rescheduled.
If the delivery or pickup exceeds one hour on-site, Container King assesses a time charge of $75/hour for each additional hour on-site. To ensure that the delivery goes smoothly, someone needs to be at the site at the agreed time when the unit is placed. If you have concerns about access to your delivery site, please discuss them with us prior to delivery. Please send photos and we can discuss what preparations need to be made prior to delivery.
**IF the derived gets stuck, the customer is responsible for towing and/or dry run fee.
We will send you the delivery terms so that you can be aware of ever thing in detail.
With proper preparation, we can avoid costly delays for all of us!!!
What about my site?
Containers are suitable to be placed directly on the ground as long as there is sufficient drainage and the site is level. If a container is not level, the doors will be difficult to operate.
Can you move my container?
At this time we are not providing any container relocation services.
Is a permit required to place a storage container on your property?
Each city or county have their own regulations! We recommend that you contact your local municipal authority to confirm. Most cities and counties do not require a permit. But it is your responsibility to investigate and arrange for any required permits or fees associated with the placement of the container.
What is the current lead time on custom containers?
The current lead time is 6 weeks depending on the extent of the project. To get started, we require 50% down and the rest is due prior to delivery.
I have my own trailer; can I transport my own container?
Absolutely! We just need your payment to clear the bank prior to picking it up.
